Disclosed is a display device comprising a display panel and a driving unit for driving the display panel. The display panel includes a plurality of gate lines, a plurality of data lines and a plurality of subpixels connected to the gate lines and the data lines. The display panel has a zigzag connection structure where a pair of RG subpixels included in the odd number of the line and RG subpixels included in the even number of the line among two successive lines are alternately one by one connected to the same gate line and a pair of BG subpixels included in the odd number of the line and BG subpixels included in the even number of the line among two successive lines are alternately one by one connected to the same gate line. Through the zigzag connection structure, flickering along the row-directional line and degradation of image quality due to interlace scanning can be reduced. 디스플레이 장치는 디스플레이 패널 및 상기 디스플레이 패널을 구동하는 구동부를 포함한다. 상기 디스플레이 패널은 복수의 게이트 라인들, 복수의 데이터 라인들 및 상기 복수의 게이트 라인들과 상기 복수의 데이터 라인들에 연결된 복수의 서브 픽셀들을 포함한다. 상기 디스플레이 패널은 연속하는 두 개의 행들 중 홀수 번째 행에 포함되는 RG 서브 픽셀 쌍들과 짝수 번째 행에 포함되는 RG 서브 픽셀 쌍들이 하나씩 교번적으로 동일한 게이트 라인에 연결되고, 연속하는 두 개의 행들 중 홀수 번째 행에 포함되는 BG 서브 픽셀 쌍들과 짝수 번째 행에 포함되는 BG 서브 픽셀 쌍들이 하나씩 교번적으로 동일한 게이트 라인에 연결되는 지그재그 연결 구조를 갖는다. 지그재그 연결 구조를 통하여 행 방향 라인의 플리커링(flickering)을 감소하고 비월 주사(interlace scanning)에 의한 화질 열화를 감소할 수 있다.
