Summary:The present invention relates to a new cultivar of Camellia sinensis, a method for breeding the same, and a method for cultivating the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to a new cultivar of Camellia sinensis (Hereinafter referred to as the new cultivar of Camellia sinensis) which is provided by a new method for breeding the same, and a new method for cultivating the same. The new cultivar of Camellia sinensis produced by the new method for breeding, contains a high content of epigallocatechin-3-O-(3-O-methyl) gallate; EGCG3″Me; 3″-O-Me-EGCG. The new cultivar of Camellia sinensis shows high palatability when being processed into semi-fermented tea, fermented tea, and post-fermented tea. 본 발명은 차나무 신품종, 이의 육종방법 및 이의 재배방법에 관한 것으로, 보다 구체적으로는 신규 육종방법 및 재배방법을 통해 생산된 차나무() 신품종(이하 '차나무 신품종'이라 함)에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 차나무() 신품종의 육종방법으로 제조한 차나무 신품종은 특히 에피갈로카테킨-3--(3--메틸) 갈레이트(epigallocatechin-3-O-(3-O-methyl) gallate; EGCG3"Me; 3"--Me-EGCG)를 고함량으로 함유한다.
