Summary:A refrigerator according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a cabinet forming a storage space; a door which opens and closes the storage space and has an opening communicating with the storage space; an illuminating apparatus provided on an inner side and illuminating the inner side; an operating apparatus for turning the illuminating apparatus on and off; a transmissive unit provided in the opening, the transmissive unit selectively visualizing a high inside according to on/off of the illuminating apparatus; and a transparent deposition layer formed on the transmissive unit and made of a ceramic-based transparent oxide. The transparent deposition layer refracts and reflects light emitted from the outside so that the transmissive unit appears opaque with the same texture and color as the door outside the opening when the illuminating apparatus is turned off, and transmits the light of the illuminating apparatus to visualize the inside of the storage space when the illuminating apparatus is turned on. Thus, when the illuminating apparatus is turned off, the transmissive unit provides an appearance which is integrated with the door. 본 발명의 실시 예에 따른 냉장고는, 저장공간을 형성하는 캐비닛; 상기 저장공간을 개폐하며, 상기 저장공간과 연통되는 개구가 형성되는 도어; 고내측에 구비되며, 고내측을 밝히는 조명장치; 상기 조명장치를 온오프시키는 조작장치; 상기 개구에 구비되며, 상기 조명장치의 온/오프에 따라 고내측을 선택적으로 가시화시키는 투과부; 상기 투과부에 형성되며, 세라믹 계열의 투명 산화물로 이루어진 투명 증착층;을 포함하며, 상기 투명 증착층은, 상기 조명장치가 오프되었을 때, 외부에서 조사되는 빛을 굴절 및 반사시켜 상기 투과부가 상기 개구 외측의 도어와 동일한 질감과 색상으로 불투명하게 보이도록 하며, 상기 조명장치가 온되었을 때, 상기 조명장치의 빛이 투과되어 상기 저장공간 내부를 가시화시키는 것을 특징으로 한다. 따라서, 조명장치가 오프되었을 때, 투과부가 도어와 일체감 있는 외관을 제공하게 된다.
