안과용 렌즈를 주문하는 방법으로서, - 착용자의 눈에 대한 원하는 교정을 나타내는 데이터를 획득하는 단계; - 상기 획득된 데이터와 착용자의 눈에 대한 상기 렌즈의 예상 위치를 정의하는 하나 이상의 파라미터에 기초하여, 렌즈 미터 상에서 측정될 렌즈 굴절력을, 전자 장치를 사용하여, 결정하는 단계(S6, S8)로서, 상기 렌즈 굴절력은 착용자의 눈에 대해 예상 위치에 배치될 때 착용자의 눈에 원하는 교정을 제공하도록 구성된 렌즈에 대해 렌즈 미터 상에서 측정된 굴절력에 상응하는, 결정 단계; - 결정된 굴절력을 특정하는 안과용 렌즈를 주문하는 단계(S10);를 포함하는, 안과용 렌즈 주문 방법이 개시된다. 상응하는 시스템도 또한 제공된다. A method of ordering an ophthalmic lens comprises the following steps: -obtaining data representative of a desired correction for a wearer's eye; -determining (S6, S8), using an electronic device, a lens power to be measured on a lensmeter based on the obtained data and on at least one parameter defining an expected position of the lens with respect to the wearer's eye, wherein the lens power corresponds to the power measured on the lensmeter for a lens adapted to provide the desired correction to the wearer's eye when placed at the expected position with respect to the wearer's eye; -ordering (S10) the ophthalmic lens specifying the determined power. A corresponding system is also provided.
