According to embodiments of the present invention, a system for charging an electric vehicle wirelessly connects a watt-hour meter connected to a power supply to a charger connecting the power supply and an electric vehicle. The watt-hour meter receives user identification information from the charger. The watt-hour meter measures a power amount supplied to the electric vehicle from the power supply. The watt-hour meter transmits the user identification information and the power amount to a server. The server imposes charge information corresponding to the power amount based on the user identification information.
