본 발명은 단순 롤 스탠드 구조에서 인라인 롤 교체에 관한 것이다. 작업 롤들 위아래에 각 하나씩의 보조 롤을 더 포함하는 롤 스탠드로부터 작업 롤들을 제거하기 위해, 먼저 상기 상부 작업 롤 초크(21, 22)와 상부 보조 롤 초크(23, 24)가 서로 연결되어, 상기 상부 보조 롤 초크(23, 24)들의 각각의 수직 이동이 상기 상부 작업 롤 초크(21, 22)들로 전달된다. 그 다음 상기 상부 보조 롤(16)은 정해진 제1 보조 롤 위치(pZ1)로 상향 이동된다. 이어서 상기 상부 및 하부 작업 롤이 상기 롤 스탠드 프레임으로부터 인출된다.
