Summary:Disclosed is an air filter for an internal combustion engine, removing foreign substances like dust included in the air for complete combustion and supplying enough oxygen to improve fuel efficiency. To this end, provided is an air filter for an internal combustion engine, including a net frame having a net-shape structure and a filter member including red clay powder disposed in the net frame. Accordingly, yellow dust and fine dust contained in the air introduced into the engine can be filtered. Moreover, acidified air can be alkalized so as to increase combustion efficiency of a fuel. 완전 연소를 위해 공기 중에 포함된 먼지 등의 이물질을 제거하고, 충분한 산소를 공급하여 연비효율을 개선시킬 수 있는 내연기관용 에어필터가 개시된다. 이를 위하여 망상 구조를 갖는 그물망, 및 상기 그물망에 구비된 황토 분말이 포함된 필터부재가 구비된 내연기관용 에어필터를 제공한다. 본 발명은 엔진으로 유입되는 공기에 함유된 황사 및 미세먼지를 걸러 줄 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 산성화된 공기를 알칼리화시켜 주어 연료의 연소효율을 향상시켜 준다.
