The present invention relates to an auger motor of a refrigerator ice maker, including: a case (100); a drive motor (M) provided at one side of the case (100); a driving gear (110) coaxially coupled to an output shaft (112) of the driving motor (M); a first gear (120) including a first large gear (122) engaged with the driving gear (110) and a first small gear (124) coaxially coupled to the first large gear (122); a second gear (130) including a second small gear (134) engaged with the first large gear (122) and a second large gear (132) coaxially coupled to the second small gear (134); a third gear (140) engaged with the second small gear (134) and having an output shaft (142) extending from a central axis; and a prevention wall (210, 220) provided at one side of an engagement portion between the gears to allow grease to remain on one side of the gear. According to the present invention, the grease continuously remains at the engagement portion between the gears without being separated from the one side of the engagement portion between the gears, so that a lubrication action of the gear is sustained for a long time, and noise is alleviated. 본 발명은 냉장고 제빙기의 오거모터에 관한 것으로, 케이스(100)와; 상기 케이스(100) 일측에 구비되는 구동모터(M)와; 상기 구동모터(M)의 출력축(112)에 동축으로 결합되는 구동기어(110)와; 상기 구동기어(110)와 치합되는 제1 큰기어(122) 및 상기 제1 큰기어(122)와 동축으로 결합되는 제1 작은기어(124)를 포함하는 제1 기어(120)와; 상기 제1 큰기어(122)와 치합되는 제2 작은기어(134) 및 상기 제2 작은기어(134)와 동축으로 결합되는 제2 큰기어(132)를 포함하는 제2 기어(130)와; 상기 제2 작은기어(134)와 치합되며, 중심축으로부터 연장된 출력축(142)을 가지는 제3 기어(140)와; 기어 간의 치합 부위 일측에 구비되어, 그리스(grease)가 기어 일측에 잔류할 수 있게 하는 방지벽(210, 220);을 포함하여 구성된다. 이와 같은 본 발명에 의하면, 기어간의 치합 부위 일측에는 그리스(grease)가 이탈되지 않고 계속해서 기어간의 치합 부위에 잔존할 수 있어 기어의 윤활 작용이 장시간 지속 될 수 있으며, 소음이 완화되는 효과를 얻을 수 있다.
