A lower surface of the climbing assistance member comes in contact with a stair earlier than the front wheel to lift the front wheel when the robot apparatus moves frontward. 계단 등판 기능을 갖는 로봇 장치에 있어서, 전륜; 후륜; 및 로봇 장치의 전방 사선으로 돌출된 등판 보조 부재를 포함하되, 등판 보조 부재의 하부면은, 로봇 장치가 전진 이동할 때 전륜보다 먼저 계단에 접촉하여 전륜이 상승되도록 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 로봇 장치가 개시된다.
