Summary:The present invention relates to a composition for inhibiting formation of fungal biofilms. Cascarilla peel essential oil, Helichrysum bracteatum essential oil, alpha-longipinene, and linalool inhibit biofilm formation and mycelial growth of Candida albicans and reduce toxicity of Candida albicans. Accordingly, the composition having the effects can be useful as a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating infectious disease caused by fungal biofilms, a health food composition for preventing or improving infectious disease caused by fungal biofilms, and a coating composition for inhibiting formation of fungal biofilms. 본 발명은 곰팡이 바이오필름 형성 억제용 조성물에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 카스카릴라 껍질 정유, 밀집꽃속 정유, α-롱기피넨 및 리나로올은 칸디다 알비칸스의 바이오필름 형성 및 균사 성장을 억제하고 칸디다 알비칸스의 독성을 감소시킬 수 있다. 따라서, 상기와 같은 효과를 갖는 조성물은 곰팡이 바이오필름에 의해서 유발되는 감염성 질환 예방 또는 치료용 약학 조성물, 곰팡이 바이오필름에 의해서 유발되는 감염성 질환 예방 또는 개선용 건강식품 조성물 및 곰팡이 바이오필름 형성을 억제하기 위한 코팅용 조성물로 유용하게 활용될 수 있다.
