Summary: | Provided is a visible light active photocatalyst including tungsten oxide particles in which copper particles is supported. Moreover, provided is a preparing method of the visible light active photocatalyst. The preparing method with low loss of a raw material comprises the steps of: preparing a tungsten oxide particle dispersion solution; adjusting pH of the tungsten oxide particle dispersion solution to 7 to 11; mixing a supported raw material containing a copper precursor with the tungsten oxide dispersion solution having the pH controlled; and supporting the copper particles on the tungsten oxide particles.
