The present invention relates to a communications method using a plurality of communications protocols, and an electronic device thereof. The electronic device comprises at least one antenna, and a control circuit capable of communicating with an external electronic device by using a first protocol and a second protocol through the at least one antenna. The control circuit checks context information related to communications, determines priority related to the first protocol and the second protocol on the basis of the context information, determines a corresponding protocol among the first protocol and the second protocol on the basis of the priority, and communicates through the antenna by using the corresponding one protocol. 본 발명은 복수의 통신 프로토콜들을 이용하는 통신 방법 및 그 전자 장치에 관한 것이다. 상기 전자 장치는, 적어도 하나의 안테나와, 상기 적어도 하나의 안테나를 통해 제1 프로토콜 및 제2 프로토콜을 이용하여 외부 전자 장치와 통신을 수행할 수 있는 제어 회로를 포함한다. 상기 제어 회로는, 상기 통신과 관련된 상황 정보를 확인하고, 상기 상황 정보에 적어도 기반하여, 상기 제1 프로토콜 및 상기 제2 프로토콜과 관련된 우선순위를 결정하고, 상기 우선순위에 적어도 기반하여, 상기 제1 프로토콜 및 상기 제2 프로토콜 중 대응하는 하나의 프로토콜을 결정하고, 상기 대응하는 하나의 프로토콜을 이용하여 상기 안테나를 통하여 통신하도록 설정된다.
