The present invention provides a roof for a vehicle including a roof panel made of an aluminum material and a roof rear rail detachably coupled to the roof panel and made of a steel material. The roof for a vehicle includes: a roof panel made of aluminum; a roof rear rail detachably coupled to the rear end of the roof panel and made of a steel material; a hinge having one end coupled to the roof rear rail; and a tail gate coupled to the other end of the hinge and opened and closed by rotating about the hinge. The roof rear rail includes an undercut portion configured to be bent to avoid interference with the tail gate being rotated.
