The present invention relates to a base station and a method for clock synchronization of a base station. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for clock synchronization of a base station comprises: a scanning step of scanning a satellite transmitting a satellite signal and a master base station providing a clock synchronization signal; a master mode operation step of receiving the clock synchronization signal from the found satellite, synchronizing a clock of a base station, and providing the clock synchronization signal to a slave base station if the satellite transmitting the satellite signal satisfying a predetermined condition is found in the scanning step; and a slave mode operation step of receiving the clock synchronization signal from the found master base station and synchronizing the clock of the base station if the satellite transmitting the satellite signal satisfying a predetermined condition is not found, and the master base station satisfying a predetermined condition is found in the scanning step. According to an embodiment of the present invention, it is possible to provide the base station which dynamically performs a master base station operation and a slave base station operation depending on a situation without limiting the roles of the master base station and the slave base station; and the method for clock synchronization of a base station. 본 발명은 기지국 및 기지국의 클락 동기화 방법에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 일 실시 예에 따르는 기지국의 클락 동기화 방법은, 위성 신호를 송신하는 위성 및 클락 동기화 신호를 제공하는 마스터 기지국을 스캔하는 스캔 단계, 상기 스캔 단계에서 미리 설정된 조건을 만족하는 위성 신호를 송신하는 위성을 발견하면, 상기 발견된 위성으로부터 클락 동기화 신호를 수신하여 상기 기지국의 클락을 동기화하고, 슬레이브 기지국에 클락 동기화 신호를 제공하는 마스터 모드 동작 단계 및 상기 스캔 단계에서 미리 설정된 조건을 만족하는 위성 신호를 송신하는 위성을 발견하지 못하고 미리 설정된 조건을 만족하는 마스터 기지국을 발견하면, 상기 발견된 마스터 기지국으로부터 클락 동기화 신호를 수신하여 상기 기지국의 클락을 동기화하는 슬레이브 모드 동작 단계를 포함할 수 있다. 본 발명의 일 실시 예에 따르면 마스터 기지국이나 슬레이브 기지국의 역할이 제한됨이 없이 상황에 따라 동적으로 마스터 기지국 동작과 슬레이브 기지국 동작을 수행하는 기지국 및 기지국의 클락 동기화 방법을 제공할 수 있는 효과가 있다.
