The present invention relates to an apparatus for detecting an internal fault of a transformer which integrates an electrode for detecting an electrical fault with a sensor for detecting internal gas in a single body and inserting the integrated body into the transformer, thereby detecting an internal fault occurring inside the transformer. According to the present invention, the apparatus for detecting an internal fault of a transformer includes: a metal member of a predetermined length; a plurality of electrodes provided around the metal member and detecting an electrical signal occurring due to the internal fault of the transformer; an insulation member provided to include the metal member and the plurality of electrodes; and a gas sensor provided in an end portion of the metal member and detecting gas inside the transformer. 본 발명은 전기적 결함 검출을 위한 전극 및 내부가스 검출을 위한 센서를 일체형으로 구현하여 변압기 내부에 삽입해서 내부에서 발생하는 내부결함을 검출하도록 하는 변압기 내부결함 검출장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 변압기 내부결함 검출장치는, 일정 길이를 갖는 금속부재; 상기 금속부재의 주변에 설치되어 변압기의 내부결함에 의해 발생하는 전기적 신호를 검출하기 위한 복수의 전극; 상기 금속부재 및 복수의 전극을 포함하도록 형성된 절연부재; 및 상기 금속부재의 끝단부에 설치되어 상기 변압기 내부의 가스를 검출하는 가스센서를 포함한다.
