According to the present invention, disclosed is a composition for manufacturing a secondary battery separator which is excellent in electrical conductivity and can minimize occurrence of a black scum generated in an electrode, and a secondary battery thereof. According to the present invention, the composition for manufacturing a secondary battery separator is composed of a polyethylene resin and an ionic liquid lubricant composition. The ionic liquid lubricant composition includes a pore controlling agent, ionic liquid and paraffinic oil. 전기전도도가 우수하며, 전극에 생기는 블랙 스컴(black scum)의 발생을 최소화할 수 있는 이차전지 세퍼레이터 제조용 조성물 및 그 이차전지에 대하여 개시한다. 본 발명에 따른 이차전지 세퍼레이터 제조용 조성물은 폴리에틸렌 수지 및 이온성액체 윤활제 조성물로 조성되며, 상기 이온성액체 윤활제 조성물은 기공조절제, 이온성액체 및 파라핀계 오일을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
