The present invention provides a display device which can adjust a contact area between thin film transistors and wires, can adjust a width of the wire, and optimizes an arrangement of the thin film transistors and the wires. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the display device comprises: a substrate; the thin film transistor located on the substrate, and including a semiconductor layer which has a channel region and a source region and a drain region on both sides of the channel region and a gate electrode which is overlapped with a part of the semiconductor layer; a gate insulating layer between the semiconductor layer and the gate electrode; an interlayer insulating layer covering the thin film transistor; a data line in contact with the semiconductor layer through a hole which passes through the gate insulating layer and the interlayer insulating layer; a spacer located on an inner side wall of the hole, and in contact with the data line; and a pixel electrode electrically connected to the thin film transistor. 본 발명의 일 실시예는, 기판과, 기판 상에 배치되며 채널영역과 채널영역 양쪽의 소스영역 및 드레인영역을 구비한 반도체층, 및 반도체층의 일부와 중첩하는 게이트전극을 포함하는 박막트랜지스터와, 반도체층 및 게이트전극 사이의 게이트절연층과, 박막트랜지스터를 커버하는 층간절연층과, 게이트절연층 및 층간절연층을 관통하는 홀을 통해 상기 반도체층과 접촉하는 데이터선과, 홀의 내측벽에 배치되며 데이터선과 접촉하는 스페이서, 및 박막트랜지스터와 전기적으로 연결된 화소전극을 포함하는, 디스플레이 장치를 개시한다.
