The present invention relates to an insulation system structure of a membrane-type storage tank and a membrane-type storage tank including the same and, more specifically, to an insulation system structure of a membrane-type storage tank and a membrane-type storage tank including the same which form a deformation absorbing space between a primary and a secondary insulation panel on a corner area of a liquefied natural gas storage tank vulnerable to structure deformation for hull bending to minimize structure deformation. The insulation system of a membrane-type storage tank comprises: a secondary insulation panel which is arranged to insulate an internal space of a liquefied natural gas storage tank from the outside, and has a bent shape to be arranged on a corner of the liquefied natural gas storage tank; a secondary membrane layered on the secondary insulation panel; a primary insulation panel which is layered on the secondary membrane, and has a bent shape to be coupled to the secondary insulation panel; and a primary membrane layered on the primary insulation panel. A deformation absorbing space is formed between an inner side of a corner of the secondary insulation panel and an outer side of a corner of the primary insulation panel. 본 발명은 멤브레인형 저장탱크의 단열시스템 구조와 이를 포함하는 멤브레인형 저장탱크에 관한 것으로, 더욱 구체적으로는 선체 밴딩(banding)에 대한 구조물 변형에 취약한 액화천연가스 저장탱크의 코너 영역에서 1차 단열패널과 2차 단열패널 사이에 변형 흡수 공간부를 형성하여 구조물 변형을 최소화하는 멤브레인형 저장탱크의 단열시스템 구조와 이를 포함하는 멤브레인형 저장탱크에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 멤브레인형 저장탱크의 단열시스템은 액화천연가스 저장탱크의 내부 공간을 외부와 단열시키기 위해 마련되고, 액화천연가스 저장탱크의 코너에 마련되도록 절곡된 형태를 갖는 2차 단열패널; 상기 2차 단열패널 상에 적층되는 2차 멤브레인; 상기 2차 멤브레인 상에 적층되고, 상기 2차 단열패널과 결합되도록 절곡된 형태를 갖는 1차 단열패널; 및 상기 1차 단열패널 상에 적층 마련되는 1차 멤브레인을 포함하며, 상기 2차 단열패널의 코너부의 내측면과 상기 1차 단열패널의 코너부의 외측면 사이에 변형 흡수 공간부가 형성된다.
