An objective of the present invention is to provide a smart traveler guide service system, capable of providing a traveler with information about the current visiting site of the traveler through at least one among voice, text, and moving picture, and a method thereof. To this end, the smart traveler guide service system comprises: a big data storage unit to store guide information, which is related to a traveling site and includes at least one among text, voice, and moving picture; a location information analysis unit to analyze location information of a traveler terminal which requests the guide information; a guide information providing unit using artificial intelligence (AI) to extract the guide information corresponding to the location of the traveler terminal, grasped through the location information analysis unit, from the big data storage unit; a communication unit to communicate with the traveler terminal; and a control unit to control function of the big data storage unit, the location information analysis unit, the guide information providing unit, and the communication unit. 본 발명의 목적은, 여행을 하고 있는 여행자에게 음성, 텍스트 또는 동영상 중 적어도 어느 하나로, 여행자가 현재 방문하고 있는 방문지에 대한 정보를 제공할 수 있는, 여행자 스마트 가이드 서비스 시스템 및 그 방법을 제공하는 것이다. 이를 위해. 본 발명에 따른 여행자 스마트 가이드 서비스 시스템은, 여행지와 관련되어 있으며, 텍스트, 음성 및 동영상 중 적어도 하나의 형태로 이루어진 가이드 정보들을 저장하는 빅 데이터 저장부; 가이드 정보를 요청한 여행자 단말기의 위치 정보를 분석하는 위치 정보 분석부; 상기 위치 정보 분석부를 통해 파악된 상기 여행자 단말기의 위치에 대응되는 가이드 정보를 상기 빅 데이터 저장부에서 인공지능을 이용하여 추출하며, 추출된 가이드 정보를 상기 여행자 단말기로 전송하는 가이드 정보 제공부; 상기 여행자 단말기와 통신을 수행하는 통신부; 및 상기 빅 데이터 저장부, 상기 위치 정보 분석부, 상기 가이드 정보 제공부와 상기 통신부의 기능을 제어하는 제어부를 포함한다.
