The member can have a folded configuration in which the first lateral edge and the second lateral edge are curled toward each other about the longitudinal axis of the member. In addition, the member can also have an extended configuration in which the member forms a series of loops, and a first lateral portion and a second lateral portion are unfolded to be spaced apart from each other. 목표 영역을 폐색하기 위한 폐색 장치는 세장형 부재를 따라 종방향으로 연장하는 대향한 제1 및 제2 측부 에지들을 갖는 세장형 부재와, 부재 폭을 포함할 수 있다. 이 부재는 제1 및 제2 측부 에지가 부재의 종방향 축을 중심으로 서로를 향해 말려져 있는 절첩된 구조를 가질 수 있다. 또한, 이 부재는 부재가 일련의 루프를 형성하고, 제1 및 제2 측부가 서로 이격되도록 말림해제되는 확장된 구조를 가질 수 있다.
