The present invention relates to a fingerprint positioning method and apparatus, and more particularly, to a fingerprint positioning method and apparatus, capable of calculating a current position by comparing radio wave environment information stored in a positioning DB for each of a plurality of reference positions with first radio wave environment information measured in a measurement target terminal device and detecting and correcting a positioning error by comparing second radio wave environment information corresponding to the calculated position among the radio wave environment information of the positioning DB with the first radio wave environment information, thereby calculating a more accurate position. 본 발명은 핑거프린트 측위 방법 및 장치에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는 측위 DB에 복수의 기준 위치 별로 저장된 무선전파환경 정보들을 측정대상 단말장치에서 측정된 제1 무선전파환경 정보를 비교하여 현재 위치를 산출하되, 측위DB의 무선전파 환경정보 중에서 산출된 위치에 대응하는 제2 무선전파 환경정보와 상기 제1 무선전파환경 정보를 비교하여 측위 오류를 검출하여 정정함으로써, 더 정확한 위치를 산출할 수 있도록 한다.
