An electronic device of the present invention comprises: a memory for storing content; a display for outputting the content; and a processor functionally connected with the memory and the display. The memory stores instructions, upon execution, allowing the processor to select at least one content satisfying a specified condition among content stored in the memory in response to a first user input, to output a first screen consisting of the selected at least one content to the display, and when a second user input for ending the output of the first screen occurs, to output a second screen requiring user confirmation of the electronic device to the display.
