Disclosed are an offshore structure having a cargo oil storage tank with a hinge type block wall and a damaged space reducing method. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the offshore structure comprises a plurality of cargo oil storage tanks divided with a plurality of partition walls within a hull and a plurality of ballast tanks transversely adjacent to the same, and in each of the cargo oil storage tanks, a hinge type block wall is installed to divide an internal space into two spaces.
