The purpose of the present invention to provide a method and apparatus for allowing the determination of a target conveying capacity in a simplified manner. A method of obtaining a target conveying capacity of a pumping system (7), the pumping system including at least one pump (10) by which a temperature-control medium is conveyed through at least one temperature-control channel (4, 5) of a molding tool (6), comprises: a) performing control of at least one temperature control volume flow passing through the at least one temperature-control channel (4, 5) according to control variables by using at least one throttle (12) as an actuating element such that the at least one temperature control volume flow is substantially constantly maintained; b) measuring a conveying flow of the pumping system (7); c) operating the at least one pump (10) starting from a starting conveying capacity independently from control of the at least one temperature control volume flow, thereby reducing the conveying capacity of the pumping system (7) to a reduced conveying capacity; and d) checking if the conveying flow is substantially constantly maintained such that i) the reduced conveying capacity is determined as the target conveying capacity when the conveying flow is maintained, or ii) the starting conveying capacity is determined as the target conveying capacity when the conveying flow is not maintained in spite of control of the at least one temperature control volume flow. 온도-제어 매체를 적어도 하나의 펌프(10)에 의하여 성형 툴(6)의 적어도 하나의 온도-제어 채널(4, 5)을 통해 이송하기 위한 적어도 하나의 펌프(10)를 구비하는 펌핑 시스템(7)의 목표 이송 용량을 구하기 위한 방법에 있어서, a) 적어도 하나의 온도-제어 채널(4, 5)를 통하는 적어도 하나의 온도-제어 유동의 제어가 작동 부재로서 적어도 하나의 스로틀(12)을 이용하는 것에 의해 제어 변수에 따라 수행되어 적어도 하나의 온도-제어 체적 유동이 실질적으로 일정하게 유지되고, b) 펌핑 시스템(7)의 이송 유동이 측정되며, c) 적어도 하나의 온도-제어 체적 유동의 제어와는 독립적인 시작 이송 용량으로부터 시작하는 적어도 하나의 펌프(10)가 작동하여 펌핑 시스템(7)의 이송 용량은 감소된 이송 용량으로 감소되며, 그리고 d) 그 후 이송 유동이 실질적으로 일정하게 유지되는지 여부를 확인하고, i) 만일 유지되면, 감소된 이송 용량이 목표 이송 용량으로 결정되고, 또는 ii) 적어도 하나의 온도-제어 체적 유동의 제어에도 불구하고 유지되지 않다면, 시작 이송 용량이 목표 이송 용량으로 결정되는 펌핑 시스템의 목표 이송 용량을 구하기 위한 방법.
