Summary: | A manufacturing method of ceria nanoparticles according to the present invention comprises the following steps of: dispersing cerium hydroxide powders in a solvent mixed with distilled water and alcohol; and heating the solution in which the cerium hydroxide powders are dispersed for 1 to 7 hours at 90 to 160°C, and obtaining ceria powders. According to the present invention, because ethanol with a low boiling point is used as the solvent with the distilled water, fine spherical ceria powders having a size of 1 to 5 nm can be obtained at a temperature of about 90°C which is lower than a conventional one. Therefore, the ceria powers with a high specific surface area can be manufactured at a low temperature with a low cost.
본 발명에 따른 세리아 나노입자 제조방법은, 증류수와 알코올이 혼합된 용매에 수산화세륨 분말을 분산시키는 단계; 및 상기 수산화세륨 분말이 분산된 용액을 90~160℃에서 1~7시간 동안 가열하여 세리아 분말을 얻는 단계; 를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 본 발명에 의하면, 끓는점이 낮은 에탄올을 증류수와 함께 용매로 사용하기 때문에 종래보다 낮은 온도인 90℃ 정도에서 1-5nm 크기의 미세한 구형 세리아 분말이 얻을 수 있다. 이는 곧 저온에서 고 비표면적의 세리아 입자를 저가로 제조할 수 있음을 의미한다. |
