Summary:The present invention relates to a cathode for production of biofuel, and to a microbial electrosynthesis system for production of biofuel comprising the same. According to the present invention, the amount of electroactive microorganisms adsorbed on the surface of an electrode is improved by modifying the surface of a previously commercially available carbon electrode with an amine compound having a positive charge, and the production of various biofuels including biobutanol, bioethanol, and biomethanol can be maximized by improving the electron transfer efficiency. 본 발명은 바이오연료 생산용 캐소드 및 이를 포함하는 바이오연료 생산용 미생물 전기합성 시스템에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따르면, 종래 상용화된 탄소 전극 표면을 양전하를 가지는 아민화합물로 개질함으로써 전극 표면에서의 전기활성 미생물 흡착량을 향상시킴과 동시에 금속 나노입자 도입을 통해 전자 전달 효율을 향상시킴으로써 바이오부탄올, 바이오헥산올, 바이오메탄올을 비롯한 다양한 바이오연료의 생산량을 극대화시킬 수 있다.
