The hour hand (9) and the minute hand (11) are arranged to operate in a first operating mode and a second operating mode where the timepiece (1) is arranged to operate by detecting an event. In the second operating mode, the hour hand (9) and the minute hand (11) are arranged to operate in the first operating mode different from their operating modes.
