Provided is a pre-sealing apparatus for performing pre-sealing among the pre-sealing and main sealing carried out to seal a pouch-type battery case in which an electrode assembly for a battery cell is embedded. The pre-sealing apparatus comprises: a pair of sealing blocks including a press for forming a pre-sealing portion by heating and pressing the surface of the outer perimeter of a sheet member for the battery case and the other surface is positioned to face the surface, and a stopper for fixing the sheet member in place, wherein a sealing protrusion for pre-sealing is formed in the press to protrude outwardly in a longitudinal direction of the press. The sealing protrusion has an outer end portion that is round in vertical cross section so that a linear pre-sealing portion is formed at a to-be-sealed portion of the sheet member. 전지셀용 전극조립체가 내장되어 있는 파우치형 전지케이스를 밀봉하기 위해 연이어 진행되는 프리 실링(pre-sealing)과 메인 실링(main sealing)에서 프리 실링을 수행하기 위한 장치로서, 전지케이스용 시트 부재의 외주변의 일면 및 상기 일면의 대향측에 위치한 타면을 상호 간에 가열 및 가압하여 프리 실링부를 형성하는 프레스(press)와 시트 부재를 정위치 고정하기 위한 고정부(stopper)를 포함하고 있는 한 쌍의 실링 블록들(sealing blocks)을 구비하고 있고, 상기 프레스에는 그것의 길이 방향을 기준으로 프리 실링을 위한 실링 돌기가 외향 돌출된 형상으로 형성되어 있으며, 시트 부재의 실링 예정 부위에 선형의 프리 실링부가 형성될 수 있도록 상기 실링 돌기는 외측 단부가 수직 단면 상으로 라운드 형상으로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 프리 실링 장치를 제공한다.
