Summary: | Provided are an inductor with excellent mechanical characteristics, and a manufacturing method thereof. The inductor according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a plurality of coil layers; a body including high-rigidity insulating layers disposed on upper and lower parts of the plurality of coil layers; and an external electrode disposed outside the body and connected to the coil layer, wherein a build-up insulating layer is disposed between the high-rigidity insulating layers to cover the coil layers, and the high-rigidity insulation layer has a Young′s modulus greater than the build-up insulating layer.
본 발명의 일 실시형태는 복수의 코일층과 상기 복수의 코일층의 상부 및 하부에 배치된 고강성 절연층을 포함하는 바디와 상기 바디의 외측에 배치되며, 상기 코일층과 연결된 외부전극을 포함하며, 상기 고강성 절연층의 사이에는 상기 코일층을 덮도록 빌드 업 절연층이 배치되며, 상기 고강성 절연층은 상기 빌드 업 절연층보다 영의 계수 (Young's Modulus)가 더 큰 인덕터 및 그 제조방법을 제공한다. |
