Summary:The present invention relates to a high pressure generator and an air conditioner. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the high pressure generator comprises: a direct current voltage unit for outputting a direct current voltage; a signal generating unit for generating a switching signal which is switched on or off based on a set duty ratio; a switch unit for switching a current to convert the direct current voltage into a pulse voltage based on the switching signal; a timer for setting a time point for adjusting the set duty ratio to boost the pulse voltage; a transformer for boosting the received pulse voltage according to a winding ratio; and a control unit for controlling the duty ratio when reaching the time point set by the timer. The control unit increases the duty ratio for a set boosting time, thereby increasing a level of the voltage output by the transformer. Accordingly, the high pressure generator is provided to reduce a noise generated during charge in a charging unit of an electrostatic precipitator. 본 발명은 고전압발생기 및 공기조화기에 관한 것이다. 본 실시예에 따른 고전압발생기에는, 직류전압을 출력하는 직류전압부; 설정된 듀티비를 기초로 온 또는 오프 스위칭되는 스위칭신호를 생성하는 신호발생부; 상기 스위칭신호를 기초로 전류를 스위칭하여 상기 직류전압을 펄스전압으로 변환시키는 스위치부; 상기 펄스전압을 승압시키기 위하여, 상기 설정된 듀티비를 조절하는 시점을 설정하는 타이머; 상기 입력되는 펄스전압을 권선비에 따라 승압시키는 변압기; 상기 타이머에 의하여 설정된 시점에 도달하면, 상기 듀티비를 조절하는 제어부가 포함되고, 상기 제어부는 설정된 승압시간동안 상기 듀티비를 증가시켜, 상기 변압기에 의하여 출력된 전압의 크기를 증가시킨다.
