Summary:A device in which a delay time exists between a position of a real input device and a displayed coordinate receives a coordinate and displays the coordinate on a screen. Various methods for reducing the delay time are attempted. Embodiments of the present invention provide method for predicting a future coordinate from past input coordinates and solving problems capable of being occurred when reducing the delay time by displaying the predicted coordinate on the screen. The method comprises: a coordinate measuring step of measuring an input coordinate input to an input device; a coordinate predicting step of predicting the input coordinate to be input next through a current input coordinate currently measured and a previously measured input coordinate from the measuring step; and a step of correcting the previous predicted coordinate displayed on a display device, and displaying a new input coordinate and the corrected predicted coordinate on the display device. 좌표를 입력받아 화면에 디스플레이(display)하는 장치에 있어서, 실제 입력장치의 위치와 디스플레이되는 좌표 사이에 지연 시간이 존재하며 지연 시간을 줄이기 위한 다양한 방법들이 시도되고 있다. 본 발명의 다양한 실시예는 과거의 입력 좌표들로부터 미래의 좌표를 예측하는 방법들과, 예측 좌표를 화면에 표시하여 지연시간을 줄이는 경우 발생할 수 있는 문제들을 해결하는 방법들을 제시할 수 있다.
