The present invention relates to a vehicle data processing method. The present invention provides the vehicle data processing method capable of reducing communication costs between a vehicle and a server or an external device by increasing compression efficiency of vehicle data by rearranging meta data before the vehicle data is transmitted to the server by compressing the vehicle data collected from a data collecting device formed in the vehicle and reducing the size of the vehicle data to be transmitted to the server with the increased compression efficiency. The vehicle data processing method according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the steps of: collecting the vehicle data from the data collecting device of the vehicle; classifying the vehicle data by using the meta data in the vehicle data; and compressing the classified vehicle data. 본 발명은 차량 데이터 처리 방법에 관한 것으로, 차량에 구비된 데이터 수집 장치로부터 수집한 차량 데이터를 압축하여 서버에 전송하기 전에 메타 데이터를 재배열하여 차량 데이터의 압축 효율을 증가시키고, 압축 효율이 증가되는 만큼 서버에 전송할 수 있는 차량 데이터의 크기를 줄임으로써, 차량과 서버 또는 외부 장치와의 통신 비용을 절감할 수 있는 차량 데이터 처리 방법을 제공한다. 본 발명의 일실시예에 따른 차량 데이터 처리 방법은 차량의 데이터 수집 장치로부터 차량 데이터를 수집하는 단계, 상기 차량 데이터에서 메타 데이터를 이용하여 분류하는 단계 및 분류된 차량 데이터를 압축하는 단계를 포함한다.
