Provided is a large area single crystal metal foil by thermally treating a polycrystal metal foil in conditions in which stress applied to the polycrystal metal foil is minimized. 본 발명은 기저와 이격되게 위치하는 다결정 금속포일을 열처리하여 단결정 금속포일을 제조하는 단계를 포함하는 단결정 금속포일의 제조방법과 이로부터 제조된 단결정 금속포일에 관한 것으로, 다결정 금속포일에 가해지는 응력을 최소화한 조건에서 열처리하여 대면적의 단결정 금속포일을 제공할 수 있다.
