Summary:The present invention investigates a use of a 5-hydroxytryptamine receptor 2B (HTR2B) and a neuropeptide Y as markers for predicting stem cell differentiation. More specifically, the present invention relates to a marker composition for predicting stem cell differentiation, wherein the marker composition includes a formulation for measuring expression of mRNA or protein of an HTR2B gene, and a method for predicting stem cell differentiation by using the same; or a marker composition for predicting stem cell differentiation, wherein the marker composition includes a formulation for measuring expression of mRNA or protein of a neuropeptide Y gene, and a method for predicting stem cell differentiation by using the same. By verifying that an HTR2B and a neuropeptide Y can be used as markers for predicting stem cell differentiation, differentiation of various undifferentiated stem cells, not differentiated cells, into heart cells or nerve cells can be predicted, and the undifferentiated stem cells can be used as a selective cell therapeutic agent. 본 발명은 줄기세포 분화 예측 마커로서 5-Hydroxytryptamine receptor 2B(HTR2B) 및 뉴로펩타이드 Y의 용도를 규명한 것으로, 보다 구체적으로는 HTR2B 유전자 mRNA 발현 또는 단백질 발현을 측정하는 제재를 포함하는 줄기세포 분화 예측용 마커 조성물 및 이를 이용하여 줄기세포의 분화를 예측하는 방법; 또는 뉴로펩타이드 Y 유전자 mRNA 발현 또는 단백질 발현을 측정하는 제재를 포함하는 줄기세포 분화 예측용 마커 조성물 및 이를 이용하여 줄기세포의 분화를 예측하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 HTR2B 및 뉴로펩타이드 Y를 줄기세포 분화 예측 마커로 사용할 수 있음을 확인함으로써, 분화된 세포가 아니라 미분화된 상태의 다양한 줄기세포들을 대상으로 심장세포 또는 신경세포로의 분화를 예측할 수 있으며, 미분화된 줄기세포를 선택적 세포치료제로 사용할 수 있는 가능성을 제공할 수 있다.
