The present invention relates to a composition for relieving, suppressing, or treating chronic pain, containing a Scutellaria baicalensis extract, more favorably, a crude solvent-extract of Scutellaria baicalensis or a solvent-fraction thereof as an active ingredient. The present invention further relates to a production method thereof.
