Summary:Disclosed is an exhaust gas recirculation system for a diesel vehicle that is mounted on a diesel vehicle and reduces the emission of nitrogen oxides, wherein the diesel vehicle includes a recirculation passage recirculating exhaust gas, an EGR valve controlling an opening and closing amount of the recirculation passage, and a main control device controlling the general operation of the vehicle and generating a first control signal for opening the EGR valve when an initial EGR condition is satisfied. The exhaust gas recirculation system includes: an EGR cooler installed to surround the recirculation passage and cooling the recirculated exhaust gas; and an EGR control device electrically connected to the main control device, generating a second control signal for opening the EGR valve when the initial EGR condition is not satisfied, and controlling the EGR valve according to the first and second control signals. 배기가스를 재순환 시키는 재순환 유로, 이의 개폐량을 조절하는 EGR 밸브 및 차량의 전반적인 동작을 제어하고 기설정된 초기 EGR 조건을 만족하는 경우 EGR 밸브를 개방시키기 위한 제1 제어신호를 생성하는 메인 제어장치를 구비하는 디젤 차량에 장착되어 질소산화물의 배출을 저감시키는 디젤 차량용 배기가스 재순환 시스템이 개시된다. 이 시스템은 재순환 유로를 둘러싸도록 설치되어 재순환되는 배기가스를 냉각시키는 EGR 냉각기 및 메인 제어장치와 전기적으로 연결되고, 초기 EGR 조건을 만족하지 않는 경우 EGR 밸브를 개방시키기 위한 제2 제어신호를 생성하며, 제1 제어신호 및 제2 제어신호에 따라 EGR 밸브를 제어하는 EGR 제어부를 구비한다.
