외부 장치로부터 데이터를 시계열로 취득하는 데이터 취득부와, 데이터를 격납하기 위한 로깅 데이터를 기억하는 로깅 데이터 기억부와, 데이터를 시계열로 나누는 시기를 정하는 조건으로, 유저에 의해서 설정된 트리거 조건을 엔지니어링 툴로부터 수신하는 데이터 로깅부와, 트리거 조건이 만족되었는지 여부를 판정하는 트리거 조건 판정부를 구비한다. 데이터 로깅부는 데이터를 로깅 데이터에 기입하여, 트리거 조건 판정부에서 트리거 조건이 만족되었다고 판정되면, 데이터를 새로운 로깅 데이터에 기입한다. This logging device is provided with: a data acquisition unit which acquires data in a time series from an external device; a logging data storage unit which stores one or more logging data files for storing the acquired time-series data as logging data; a data logging unit which receives, from an engineering tool, trigger conditions set by a user, said trigger conditions being conditions for determining the manner in which to temporally divide the acquired time-series data into time-series data segments; and a trigger condition satisfaction determination unit which determines whether or not the trigger conditions are satisfied. The data logging unit writes acquired data to the same logging data file until the trigger condition satisfaction determination unit determines that the trigger conditions are satisfied. After that, the data logging unit writes acquired data to a new logging data file.
