A monitoring apparatus according to an aspect of the present invention to solve the problem includes a communication part for receiving an original image acquired by a camera; a storage part for storing the original image; a display part for displaying the original image and a corrected image obtained by dwarfing the original image; and a control part for controlling the operations of the communication part, the storage part, and the display part. The display part displays an icon in a de-warped region where the corrected image is dwarfed from the original image, selects a de-warping region where the selected icon is located when the icon is selected, and displays a polygon representing the selected de-warping region.
