본 발명은 균질화 담배 물질의 제조 방법에 관한 것으로, 본 방법은, o 약 0.2 mm 내지 약 4 mm의 중량 당 평균 크기를 갖는 섬유를 수득하도록 셀룰로오스 섬유를 펄프화 및 정제하는 단계; o 하나 이상의 담배 유형들의 담배 배합물을 약 0.03 mm 내지 약 0.12 mm의 중량 당 평균 크기를 갖는 담배 입자들로 분쇄하는 단계; o 셀룰로오스 섬유를 담배 입자들 및 결합제와 조합해서 슬러리를 형성하는 단계; o 슬러리를 균질화하는 단계; o 아스파라기나제(asparaginase)를 슬러리에 첨가하는 단계; 및 o 슬러리로부터 균질화 담배 물질을 형성하는 단계를 포함하고, 여기서 균질화 담배 물질은 건조 중량을 기준으로 약 1% 내지 약 5%의 결합제를 포함하고 있다. The invention relates to a method for the preparation of a homogenized tobacco material, said method comprising: -pulping and refining cellulose fibres to obtain fibres having a mean size per weight comprised between about 0.2 millimetres and about 4 millimetres; -grinding a blend of tobacco of one or more tobacco types to tobacco particles having a mean size per weight comprised between about 0.03 millimetres and about 0.12 millimetres; -Combining the cellulose fibres with the tobacco particles and with a binder to form a slurry; -homogenizing the slurry; -adding asparaginase to the slurry; and-forming the homogenized tobacco material from the slurry, wherein the homogenized tobacco material comprises from about 1 percent and about 5 percent in dry weight basis of the binder.
