Summary: | The present invention relates to a control method of a continuously variable transmission. More specifically, according to the present invention, it is possible to reduce a negative power calculation period by minimizing power reversal in a hydrostatic unit with a large power cycle and low efficiency, when shifting is performed in a hydraulic transmission including a hydraulic continuously variable transmission (hydrostatic transmission unit, HSU) that performs shifting by power branching and combining, to reduce power loss of a driven output accordingly, and to improve efficiency of the entire transmission. To this end, the control method of a continuously variable transmission minimizes an area where power circulation flow is negative by shifting at a discontinuous shift point instead of shifting at a continuous shift point at which the relative speed of a clutch becomes zero at the time of shifting.
본 발명은 무단변속기의 제어방법에 관한 것으로, 보다 구체적으로는 동력분기 및 합성에 의하여 변속을 수행하는 유압식 무단변속기 장치(HSU, Hydrostatic Transmission Unit, 하이드로스태틱유닛)가 포함되는 기계유압식 변속기에서 변속하는 경우, 동력순환의 크기가 크고 효율이 낮은 하이드로스태틱유닛으로 동력이 역행하는 것을 최소화시킴으로써 음의 동력순환구간을 적게 형성하며, 이에 따른 구동 출력의 동력손실을 저감시키고, 변속기 전체의 효율을 향상시킬 수 있는 무단변속기의 제어방법에 관한 것이다. 이를 위해 무단변속기의 제어방법은 변속시에 클러치의 상대속도가 0이 되는 연속변속점에서 변속하지 않고, 불연속변속점에서 변속함으로써 동력순환흐름이 음인 영역을 최소화한다. |
