Summary:A variable rotation speed type compressor (1) of the present invention comprises: a pulley adjuster (10) having a chamber pressure increased to push a driving shaft (5) out of a housing (3) when a refrigerant pressure higher than a predetermined value is formed; and a variable pulley (20) rotating the driving shaft (5) at a pulley revolution per minute (RPM) higher than a fixed pulley RPM when the driving shaft (5) is pushed. The variable rotation speed type compressor is applied to an engine (100) together with an accessory pulley by a driving belt (100-1) to increase the RPM of the compressor (1) without increasing the RPM of the engine (100) during low-speed traveling at which a driving wind effect of a vehicle is low, thereby increasing fast cooling performance. In particular, fuel consumption and power performance are improved by decreasing the RPM of the compressor (1) during high-speed traveling at which the driving wind effect is large. 본 발명의 회전속도 가변형 컴프레서(1)는 설정치보다 높은 냉매 압력 형성 시 구동축(5)을 하우징(3) 밖으로 밀어내도록 챔버 압력이 상승되는 풀리 어저스터(10), 구동축(5)의 밀림 시 고정 풀리 RPM(Revolution Per Minute)보다 상승된 풀리 RPM으로 구동축(5)을 회전시키는 가변 풀리(20)를 포함하고, 구동벨트(100-1)로 보기류 풀리와 함께 엔진(100)에 적용됨으로써 차량의 주행풍 효과가 낮은 저속 주행 시 엔진(100)의 RPM 상승 없는 컴프레서(1)의 RPM 상승으로 냉방 속효성을 높이고, 특히 주행풍 효과가 큰 고속 주행 시 컴프레서(1)의 RPM을 낮춰 연비 및 동력성능을 유리하게 하는 특징이 구현된다.
