A display device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a substrate; a transistor disposed on the substrate and including a gate electrode, a semiconductor layer, a source electrode, a drain electrode, and a gate insulating layer positioned between the gate electrode and the semiconductor layer; and a capacitor disposed on the substrate and including a first electrode, a second electrode, and a dielectric layer disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode. The dielectric layer is thinner than the gate insulating layer.
