Summary:Disclosed are a cast-edge heating device and method. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the cast-edge heating device and method are configured to adjust a position of the heating coil in accordance with the movement of the cast-piece by grasping fine movement of the cast-piece using a sensor, or to heat an edge of the cast-piece at a predetermined temperature by detecting the temperature of the cast-piece and controlling a voltage applied to a heating coil in accordance with the temperature of the cast-piece. Accordingly, the present invention is able to evenly heat an edge of a cast-piece using a heating coil. 주편 엣지부 가열장치 및 방법을 개시한다. 본 실시예의 일 측면에 의하면, 센서를 이용해 주편의 미세한 움직임을 파악하여 주편의 움직임에 따라 가열코일의 위치를 조정하거나, 주편의 온도를 파악하여 주편의 온도에 따라 가열코일에 인가되는 전압을 제어함으로써 주편의 엣지부를 기 설정된 온도로 가열할 수 있는 주편 엣지부 가열장치 및 방법을 제공한다.
