Summary:Provided are a composition containing hypromellose acetate succinate (HPMCAS) having high solubility in a solvent and being capable of inhibiting formation of non-lysate, and a method for producing the same. More specifically, provided is HPMCAS in which a value (2-position MS/3-position MS) obtained by dividing hydroxypropyl group molar substitution degree which is directly substituted on the hydrogen atom of a hydroxy group on the 2-position carbon atom of the glucose unit (2-position MS) by hydroxypropyl group molar substitution degree which is directly substituted on the hydrogen atom of a hydroxy group on the 3-position carbon atom of the glucose unit (3-position MS) is 1.2 or less. Also, provided is a composition comprising the HPMCAS and at least a solvent. [과제] 용매에 용해시켰을 때에 높은 용해성을 갖고, 미용해물의 발생을 억제할 수 있는 히프로멜로오스 아세트산에스테르 숙신산에스테르(HPMCAS), HPMCAS 함유 조성물 및 그의 제조 방법을 제공한다. [해결수단] 글루코오스 단위의 2위치 탄소 상의 수산기의 수소 원자에 직접 치환하고 있는 히드록시프로필기 몰 치환도(2위치 MS)를, 글루코오스 단위의 3위치 탄소 상의 수산기의 수소 원자에 직접 치환하고 있는 히드록시프로필기 몰 치환도(3위치 MS)로 나눈 값(2위치 MS/3위치 MS)이, 1.2 이하인 히프로멜로오스 아세트산에스테르 숙신산에스테르, 및 당해 히프로멜로오스 아세트산에스테르 숙신산에스테르와, 용매를 적어도 포함하는 조성물 등이 제공된다.
