Summary:Provided are an apparatus and a method for extracting data. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the data extracting apparatus can extract a bit position of a target value represented in a rightmost side by using input data and a compensation of the input data, and can sequentially extract and output the bit position of the target value. 데이터를 추출하는 장치 및 방법이 제공된다. 일 실시예에 따른 데이터 추출 장치는 입력 데이터와 입력 데이터의 보수를 이용하여, 최우측에 나타나는 대상 값의 비트 위치를 추출할 수 있고, 대상 값의 비트 위치를 순차적으로 추출하여 출력할 수 있다.
