Summary:The present invention provides a high voltage circuit breaker which comprises: a fixed contact; a movable contact provided to be connected to the fixed contact, and having a thermal expansion room filled with insulation gas; a gas storage unit formed between the movable contact and the fixed contact, and filled with the insulation gas having relatively lower temperature than that of the thermal expansion room; and a heat exchange valve formed in the thermal expansion room, and having a passage through which the low temperature insulation gas stored in the gas storage unit moves to the thermal expansion room. 본 발명은 고정접점; 상기 고정접점과 연결 가능하게 구비되고, 절연가스가 충전되는 열팽창실을 구비하는 가동접점; 상기 가동접점과 상기 고정접점의 사이에 형성되고, 상기 열팽창실에 비해 상대적으로 저온의 절연가스가 충전되는 가스저장부; 및, 상기 열팽창실에 형성되어, 상기 가스저장부에 저장된 저온의 절연가스가 상기 열팽창실 방향으로 이동하는 통로를 형성하는 열교환밸브를 포함하는 고압차단기를 제공한다.
