According to the present invention, disclosed are a system to provide mapping of an indoor navigation device and a panorama image; and a method thereof. The system displays a current position on an indoor electronic map and displays a panorama image corresponding to the current position on one screen with the indoor electronic map when an indoor navigation service is provided to a mobile communication terminal. Moreover, a direction of the panorama image is displayed by matching the direction with a proceeding direction of a user when the panorama image corresponding to the current position is simultaneously displayed on the indoor electronic map and the mobile communication terminal. According to the present invention, a user is able to more easily and accurately recognize the current position to more easily and conveniently find a destination in an indoor space. 개시된 본 발명에 따른 실내 내비게이션 및 파노라마 사진 맵핑 제공 시스템 및 방법은, 이동통신 단말기에 실내 내비게이션 서비스를 제공할 때, 실내 전자지도상에 현재위치를 표시해주는 것뿐만 아니라, 현재위치에 대응되는 파노라마 사진을 실내 전자지도와 함께 한 화면에 표시해준다. 또한 실내 전자지도상에 현재위치에 대응되는 파노라마 사진을 이동통신 단말기에 함께 표시해줄 때, 파노라마 사진의 방향을 사용자의 진행 방향과 일치시켜 표시해준다. 본 발명에 의하면, 사용자는 현재의 위치를 더욱 쉽고 정확하게 인식할 수 있어 실내에서 목적지를 더욱 쉽고 편리하게 찾을 수 있는 효과가 있다.
