Summary:Provided are translating contact lenses which are truncated for correcting presbyopia and whose design is optimized to maximize translation ability while maintaining comfort when the lens is worn on eye. According to the present invention, truncation of the lenses results in a non-round geometry while still retaining under-lid residency in select portions of the lens itself. Maximum thickness and back surface radius of curvature along with ramp shape can be optimized individually or in combination to maximize translation of the lens relative to the eye, when the lens is positioned on eye. 렌즈가 눈 상에 착용된 경우 편안함을 유지하면서 병진 능력을 최대화하도록 설계가 최적화되고 노안을 교정하기 위해 절두형 교대보기 콘택트 렌즈가 제공된다. 렌즈의 절두는 렌즈 자체의 선택 부분들에서 안검 아래에 머물러 있는 것을 여전히 유지하면서 비원형의 기하학적 형상을 야기한다. 경사 형상과 함께 후방 표면 곡률 반경 및 최대 두께는 렌즈가 눈 상에 위치된 경우 눈에 대한 렌즈의 병진을 최대화하도록 개별적으로 또는 조합하여 최적화될 수 있다.
