An SNP marker for determining the content amount of palmitoleic acid in pork is used as a means to objectively evaluate the content amount of palmitoleic acid in pork, which cannot be distinguished with naked eyes, thereby being widely utilized for determining the quality of pigs. 본 발명은 돈육내 팔미톨레인산의 함량과 관련된 SNP를 검출 또는 증폭할 수 있는 제제를 포함하는 돈육내 팔미톨레인산 함량 판단용 조성물, 상기 조성물을 포함하는 돈육내 팔미톨레인산 함량 판단용 키트, 돈육내 팔미톨레인산 함량을 판단하는 방법, 돈육내 팔미톨레인산 함량이 증가된 돼지의 제조방법, 돈육내 팔미톨레인산 함량을 증가시키는 방법, 돈육내 팔미톨레인산 함량 판단용 마커 및 마이크로어레이에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 돈육내 팔미톨레인산의 함량을 판단할 수 있는 SNP 마커는 육안으로 구별되지 않는 돈육내 팔미톨레인산의 함량을 객관적으로 평가할 수 있는 수단으로 사용되므로, 돼지의 품질을 판단에 널리 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
