According to one embodiment of a technical idea of the present invention, a substrate transfer device comprises: a guide rail having a plurality of inlets and having an inner suction line extended from the inlet; a transfer gripper transferring a substrate along the guide rail; and a suction unit connected to the suction line and removing particles near the guide rail through the suction line. The guide rail comprises: a first surface facing a side surface of the substrate; and a second surface supporting an edge unit of a floor surface of the substrate. 본 발명의 기술적 사상의 일 실시예에 의한 기판 이송 장치는 복수개의 흡입구들이 형성되며, 상기 흡입구로부터 연장하는 흡입 라인이 내부에 형성된 가이드 레일, 상기 가이드 레일을 따라서 기판을 이송시키는 이송 그립퍼, 및 상기 흡입 라인과 연결되고, 상기 흡입 라인을 통하여 상기 가이드 레일 주변의 파티클을 제거하는 흡입부를 포함하되, 상기 가이드 레일은, 상기 기판의 측면과 마주하는 제1 면과, 상기 기판의 바닥면의 가장자리부를 지지하는 제2 면을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
